I'm home! My surgery went very well the doc said and I can't tell you how happy I am to be home. The bad part is that I have to be pretty still and can't play with my sister yet. But there's some good parts too. Dad started to introduce me to the raw diet tonight. Along with a tiny bit of my regular bagged food, I had partially cooked beef and beef liver. Dad thinks that humans are vain to think they've evolved us to eat that crap that most us eat. Domesticated? Absolutely! Evolved? Not for a long long time. Well, whatever his reasons are, I am all about raw! Tonight I ate it like I was a wolf. Some argue for, some against - Dad says you be the judge... Raw feeding FAQ
Right now I'm laying next to Dad's bed and he's always by my side, just like I've been for the last 7 years - can you believe it's been so long? Here's some new pictures. 3-4 weeks and I'll be like I was before this bad thing came along. I'm told (by everyone in the know) that this is the right thing to do, and although it hurts right now, I have some good times ahead, and that's priceless.

Andy boy! You look fantastic! I know it's a bummer you can't wrastle with your pal right now, but dad has the right idea by keeping a close eye on you. Just think how much better you'll be in a few weeks when the snow really stars pounding the earth. It'll take a while to get used to trekking on only three legs, but the snow might help you condition your balance better than that hard old ground. Keep eating, keep drinking water, and keep melting hearts with that big snout of yours. And tell dad he's the greatest. But you already knew that.
